Reaching out to Maryland from thousands of miles away, Waldo Burnside '49 continually finds ways to volunteer and advocate for his alma mater. And as co-chair of the Great Expectations West Coast Regional Volunteer Committee, he's getting more alumni tuned in to the exciting changes at the university. It's just the latest of about 10 volunteer roles he has held over some 40 years.
